We've hardly had time to catch our breath this fall there's so much going on in the Old Time Radio world and in history! Our Gettysburg Address Tribute show, which begins airing Thursday, Nov. 14 on Kenosha TV, started out with a germ of idea I had one morning while drinking coffee and scanning USA Today on my iPAD. It was late September and the news noted that November 19th marked the 150th anniversary of The Gettysburg Address. Remembering we had done several Lincoln Tributes over the years (Cavalcade of America's "Lincoln, The War Years,") I immediately knew the time was right to breath new life into the show. A quick email to two of our frequent collaborators: Kenosha's Civil War Museum and Kenosha TV and the program was set within days. Museum Curator Doug Dammon would interview Gettysburg Address and Lincoln Scholar Steven Rogstad with Dan Stika behind the camera. Dan would work is production wonders and weave our two shows together for an hour-long special. We hope you enjoy the show! And to those who wonder why we love Kenosha and Lake County so much, it is here where we have the energy field to create pieces such as this!
